Mott Community College is offering an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in exploring a broad range of career options in criminal justice at its 16th Annual Criminal Justice Career and Information Fair Tuesday, April 2nd, to from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It's being held at MCC's Ballenger Field House and is free and open to the public.
Criminal justice encompasses a variety of jobs and interests.such as police, courts and corrections as well as opportunities in private business and industry.
Nearly 50 agencies are expected at MCC's Criminal Justice Career Fair, including a cross section of local, state and regional police and sheriff's departments; security firms; crime prevention programs; retail outlets and federal agencies such as the U.S. Secret Service, the FBI and various branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics, continued demand for public safety will lead to new openings for officers in local departments.
