MTA rolls out Making Strides pink bus

NBC25's Jason Adams was at the event when the MTA revealed their Making Strides bus.

For the second year in a row MTA is getting involved in the fight against breast cancer.

Today MTA unveiled the Making Strides pink bus.

A group of cancer survivors attended the special event.

Many of them wore multi-colored pink scarves made by cancer survivors themselves.

Organizers say they hope the pink bus reminds women to get mammogram as it makes its way through the Flint area.

Over 100 pink scarves were made and are being sold by MTA.

The money raised goes toward breast cancer research.
