Muggy with Storms Possible through Saturday

The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has much of our viewing area in a slight risk for severe weather on Friday.

A strong jetstream in the upper levels of the atmosphere above Michigan could trigger more severe thunderstorms tomorrow evening.

We'll need to see some sunshine in the afternoon to help trigger these storms, but if they do ignite we could see storms with large hail, damaging wind, and a few tornados.

A cold front coming through on Saturday will keep the storm chances around.

In fact, the Storm Prediction Center has us in a slight risk for severe weather both tomorrow and Saturday.
