Nearly a dozen acts of vandalism in Fenton have police looking for suspects

Police say that there has been an increase in "tagging", where the vandals spray paint the sides of structures.

Fenton police are looking for help in solving a problem with vandalism in the city.

Over the last two weeks there have been 11 reported cases of vehicles with their windows broken out. Police also say that there has been an increase in "tagging", where the vandals spray paint the sides of structures.

Police say that teens have been spotted by witnesses, during the late night and early morning hours, in the areas of the crimes.

Authorities urge residents to remove valuables from their cars and store the vehicles inside if possible.

The acts of vandalism have taken place south of Ellen Street and as far north as South Long Lake Road, according to a release from Crime Stoppers.

Anyone with information about the vandals are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
