New jobs for Fenton?

Former Fenton Cinemas

New good-paying manufacturing jobs could be headed to Fenton. Creative Foam has purchased the vacant Fenton Cinemas building along US 23 on Alloy Drive for possible expansion.

In a news release, the company said ...â??The support of the community has been very helpful in making this decisionâ??, said Creative Foam President and CEO David T. Swallow. â??This abandoned theater and associated property is located directly across the street from our Corporate Headquarters. This provides a great opportunity to expand our operation in Fenton, Michigan and possibly bring more jobs when the timing is correct, says Swallow. In the meantime, the property will be prepared by removing the abandoned theater. Because the building and surrounding improvements have been allowed to deteriorate for some years, we are excited to be able to remove the structure and clean up the lot. This will improve the appearance of our community from US 23 until we are ready to expand.
