Construction on a new restaurant will start today that brings 90 new jobs and new menu choices to Bay County. Work begins on a Brann's Sizzling Steaks and Sports Grille at the site of a now-closed Ruby Tuesday in Bangor Township. It's located on State Street.

According to a news release..."In 1960, John Brann Sr. opened the first Brannâ??s Steakhouse in Grand Rapids. Since then, his two sons, Tommy and Johnny Brann, have carried on their fatherâ??s philosophy of serving the highest quality food at an affordable price. The company has grown to 11 restaurants and 3 catering venues throughout Michigan and continues to expand. Brannâ??s restaurants are located in metro Detroit (Northville, Macomb Township), metro Grand Rapids (Caledonia, Cascade, Downtown, Grandville and Wyoming), Holland, Kalamazoo and Muskegon".
