Abuelazam was arraigned on assault with intent to murder, which is a felony that carries a life sentence. A press conference is next. Stay tuned to NBC25 and ConnectMidMichigan for details.
Abuelazam did not enter a plea. He will be in 68th District Court at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31 for a pre-trial.
Additional murder charges are coming pending crime lab results.
