The Clare County sheriff's department says it got a call about 11 p.m. Saturday about a crash. A resident reported hearing a loud noise, followed by a woman yelling. The site is a road in Garfield Township, about 25 miles northwest of Mount Pleasant. Undersheriff Dwayne Miedzianowski says officers found evidence at the scene that a pedestrian or bicyclist may have been hit and possibly hurt.
