Ogemaw County Sheriff's Office employee accused of having sex with inmates

A man who worked with the Ogemaw County Sheriff's Office has been arraigned today on charges related to having sex with inmates.

James Raymond Gustafson has been charged with two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the second degree.

The charges state that Gustafson had sex with two female prisoners at the Ogemaw County Correctional Facility while he was a supervisor for the Sheriff's work program.

Prosecutor LaDonna Schultz thanked the victims for coming forward and thanked the Michigan State Police for conducting the investigation.

Gustafson is scheduled to appear in court again on December 12th.
