The Saginaw Police Department has made one arrest related to a carjacking that took place early Saturday morning.

The victim, a 39-year-old man, told police he was sitting in his truck in his driveway on Ortman Street, near Douglass Street, talking on the phone when three black men approached him.

The three black men, say police, then started shooting at the victim while he was in his truck. The victim ducked down and avoided the gun fire.

The victim then got out of the truck and began running toward his house. The suspects stole the truck and left.

Police were able to recover the truck and arrest one of the suspects near 7th and Carlisle Streets.
