Our coldest night of the season

Not only are we expecting our coldest night of the season, the wind will make it feel even colder when you head outside.

We're forecasting a low of 5° in Flint and Saginaw tonight.

The last time we had temperatures comparable to this was on February 17th, 2013 when Flint bottomed-out at 6° and Saginaw plummeted to 5°.

Wind chills will be at or below -10° at times overnight with west winds at 10-15mph and gusts over 20mph.

Slightly milder air is in the forecast this weekend, but the "warm-up" will come at the expense of some measurable snowfall.
