Over 40,000 are without power in Mid-Michigan

The power outage numbers contiue to climb for Genesee County.
Genesee County now has over 15,500 Consumers Energy customers without power.

High winds overnight have left more than 40,000 in Mid-Michigan without power.
Crews from Consumers Energy are out trying to repair the damage done by the storms overnight.
Right now, Genesee County is looking at just under 14,000 Consumers Energy customers without power.
Midland County has over 11,000 without power at this time with Bay County sitting at just above 6,000 without power.
Clare county has over 10,400 with no power. Shiawassee County has just under 9,000 without power.
Gladwin has 1,700 with no power while Gratiot has over 800 without power.
In most cases the estimated time for restoration is listed at 11 on Thursday, though in many areas there are no estimates because Consumers Energy is still assessing the damage.
