*** END UPDATE ***

In what is becoming a familiar refrain this Winter, east-and westbound Interstate 69 in the Swartz Creek area is shut down.

The accidents are being dealt with by the Clayton Township Police Department, according to Genesee 911.

The Michigan Department of Transportation says multiple accidents on the expressway lead to the closure.

Westbound is closed at exit 128, which is the Morrish Road exit. Eastbound is closed at Sheridan/M-13.
