Wed, 20 Aug 2014 20:37:05 GMT —
Genesee County Commissioner Pegge Adams has resigned as chair of the Genesee County Animal Control Advisory Committee (GCAC).
Adams released a statement today saying that while she is proud of her accomplishments as chair, she feels that "the constant uproar regarding GCAC has been an unending distraction from every other responsibility."
Commissioner Ted Henry will be taking over the position, according to Adams.
Henry will be taking over the position starting on August 22, 2014.
