Police: 1 charged in connection to deadly shooting on Flint's north side

A 23-year-old Flint man has been charged in connection to a shooting on Flint’s north side, resulting in one man being killed, and three others being injured, according to Michigan State Police Lieutenant David Kaiser.

Maurice Antione-Hakeem Dobson-El is facing multiple charges which include premeditated murder, three counts of assault with intent to murder, four counts of felony firearm, and one count of malicious destruction of property.

Dobson-El was arraigned on the charges Monday, May 8 and is currently being held in the Genesee County Jail without bond.

The shooting took place in the area of Copeman Boulevard and Dupont Street in Flint on Thursday, May 4.
