The Mount Pleasant Police Department has arrested a bank manager accused of videotaping employees in the bathroom.
An employee at the Chemical Bank on Pickard Street spotted a camera in the employees' only bathroom. The camera, say police, was located in a toilet paper roll, propped up behind the bathroom stall.
The employee brought the camera to the attention of the bank manager, 55-year-old David Prawdzik. Police say that Prawdzik then took the camera and tried to destroy it.
Prawdzik then left the bank.
The Mt. Pleasant police located Prawdzik and questioned him. Police say that Prawdzik confessed to videotaping employees for the past two weeks.
Prawdzik has been charged with multiple felonies, including capturing/distributing image of unclothed person, a 5-year felony, and tampering with evidence, a 4-year felony.
He is currently being held in the Isabella County Jail on $50,000 bond.
