Police investigating triple-homicide in Flint, including one child


Family members have identified one of the victims as James Ronald Allen, Jr, age 25. Allen's mother Antoinette Moore says her son, her son's roommate and the roommate's juvenile brother were shot to death around 8 o'clock Monday morning.

Capt. T.P. Johnson says the juvenile was found by police still breathing and died on his way to the hospital. Police say the child is between 10 and 16 years old.

Police are investigating a triple-homicide in Flint that happened around 7 this morning.

The shootings took place on the 3900 block of Hammerberg Road, south of Atherton Road at the Park Apartments.

Flint police say that two adult males and one juvenile boy were all shot to death. The boy died while on his way to a local hospital. Relatives of the boy tell NBC25 that he was 8-years-old.

Two of the victims were in one room of the apartment while another was found in a separate room.

Police tell NBC25 that there was no apparent drug activity in the apartment.

The Michigan State Police Crime Lab is on its way to the scene right now.

There are no suspects in custody.
