Powdered alcohol could be on store shelves this Fall

The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau has made public that they have approved powdered alcohol for sale to consumers.

The product, called Palcohol, is expected to hit the shelves this Fall, according to the company that makes the powdered alcohol.

The company says there will be six different versions sold. There will be vodka, rum, Cosmopolitan, Mojito, Lemon Drop, and Powderita. Powderita, says the company, will taste just like a Margarita.

All the consumer has to do is add water. Powdered alcohol can also be added to food to give it a "kick" according to the company website.

Like any alcoholic drink, consumers will have to be 21-years-old or older in order to buy or consume Palcohol.
