The fight against hunger is a daily battle in our communities.
S ince 1941 Catholic Charities has been coming up with creative ways to continue helping families, veterans and the elderly.
The need continues, and Catholic Charities, along with its friends all across the community are searching for the answers as they fight for those in need, but they can't do it alone.
Catholic Charities announced Thursday a county-wide fundraising event, Pub Parties for the Hungry 2014.
Local pubs, bars and restaurants are helping with the major fundraiser.
Each participating venue will host their own individual fundraiser beginning July 19th and continue through October 2014.
Proceeds working in support of Catholic Charities three soup kitchens, three sack lunch programs and summer camp in Genesee County.
