Reward offered for information on murdered activist

The family of a murdered political activist is reaching out to the public and asking anyone with information leading to an arrest to come forward.
68-year old Pablo Lopez was found shot to death in his Flint home, located in the 2500 block of Kansas near Dort Highway and Robert T. Longway Boulevard, July 9th, 2011.
Lopez was well known as a dedicated political activist and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Thursday afternoon Lopez's family along with Flint Police and Flint Mayor Dayne Walling held a press conference asking anyon in the community to step up.
"That's all we can now is pray and ask for your help. Dad would do it. He would be right here fighting for anyone of you in this community. So that's all we can say is please,please call," said Tina Kowalzyck, Lopez's daughter.
"We know that there are people in our community who have information about this crime. That information needs to come forward so that justice can be served," said Flint Mayor Dayne Walling.
