Saginaw community enjoys the "Greek life"

35 years of Greek goodness comes to the Saginaw community.
It's all part of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church's Greek Festival.
Church members have been preparing food for months to entertain the thousands expected to attend the event throughout the weekend.
People enjoyed an entire buffet of Greek food including gyros, shish kabobs, lamb and baklava.
Many community members traveling year after year to the annual event.
"We're from the corners of the Lorthrop/Chesaning area and we come every year because of the fabulous food and we like to try to support the cause so this continues on every year," said Bobby Eckland.
Officials with the church want the community to experience the "Greek life" for the weekend.
Some of the funds raised will go to a local charity or nonprofit.
