Chesaning Twp. -- Saginaw County Sheriff deputies arrest a man they believe could be responsible for killing a woman and burglarizing several Saginaw County buildings.
Saginaw Co. Sheriff William Federspiel says, "We're looking at him for multiple crimes, but right now our main focus is the homicide."
Law enforcement had been looking for the person who burglarized Jerry's Gunsmithing and Powder Shop at 13500 Amman Road in Chesaning Twp.
The owner, Jerry Richmond says he does not know why someone would want to break into his business. "If somebody wants something, it isn't a problem. I'd help them out."
Through further investigation, law enforcement found out about a potential missing person who could have been in danger. They later discovered a body in Swan Creek Township Monday night.
The sheriff and prosecutor have scheduled a press conference for 4:00pm Tuesday to give the media more details.
