Saginaw firefighters fighting to save their jobs

Saginaw's firefighter union says it will offer concessions now that a tentative agreement has been approved by the Saginaw City Council.

Under the deal, nine firefighter jobs would be saved, with an additional job being saved through retirement.

Concessions include a longer work week with no raise in pay.

Work weeks would go from 54 to 56 hours and crews may have to pay more in pensions and benefits.
