Saginaw Police identify female killed on city's south side

SAGINAW, Mich. --The Saginaw Police have identified 54-year-old Shlindrill Bonita Lewis as the victim killed in a shooting Thursday.

The shooting took place just before 4 p.m. Thursday in the 2800 block of Capehart, which is on Saginaw’s south side.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a deceased woman seated in a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds.

This is the eleventh homicide to have taken place in Saginaw this year.
