Saginaw police investigate shooting near Thompson and S. Park

Police are investigating a shooting near downtown Saginaw Wednesday afternoon. Officers were dispatched to S. 4th and Tuscola just after 3 p.m. for reports of shots fired. On the way, they were rerouted to an accident scene at Thompson and S. Park where they found the driver suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to St. Mary's with serious injuries. Police are interviewing witnesses.
