Saginaw police investigate Wednesday afternoon deadly shooting

Saginaw police are investigating a homicide that occurred Wednesday afternoon. Officers were dispatched to a home in the 2300 block of N. Michigan Ave. near Cronk Ave. at 3:40 p.m. for a shooting. They found a 24-year-old man on the ground suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead. His name has not been released pending positive identification and notification of family. This is the cityâ??s seventh homicide victim of 2013.
