The New E.R.A. Community Group is asking for the public's help when it comes to the redesign of downtown Saginaw.
The Saginaw Urban Design Charette process involves design professionals, decision makers and community stakeholders.
The group is funding the design process after getting City Councilâ??s support.
During the last few days the group has held information sessions where residents have been able to submit their ideas about what they think should go in to downtown.
The New E.R.A. Group has worked to bring these different people and organizations together.
"It's important to allow the citizens to have some ownership of their town. And when you give feedback you have ownership and I just commend the people," said Pamela Parks, president of New E.R.A.
The group will meet tonight to present their ideas to the public.
That meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at SVRC Industries at 1000 Tuscola Street and is open to the public.
An official kickoff presentation is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday at the same location.
