Authorities in Chesaning are searching for suspects after prescription painkillers are stolen from a pharmacy.
The Saginaw County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded to the break-in at Broad Street Pharmacy at around 8 this morning.
The pharmacy's back door was pried open and the deputies discovered vicodin and other pills were stolen.
Sheriff William Federspiel told NBC25 that, "We think they knew exactly what they were looking for. With a street value of vicodin pills at $10 to $15 dollars a pill, they took a large quantity."
The investigation of the break-in is ongoing at this time.
