The City of Saginaw has closed its splash pad after concerns that the water was not being properly disinfected.
According to a release from the city, when they ran tests on the water, they found the disinfection levels to be "outside of acceptable range."
The splash pad will be closed while they inspect the chemical treatment system and do any required maintenance.
There have been no reports of illness according to city officials.
The hope is to have the splash pad reopened for the Labor Day weekend.
Earlier this year in Traverse City they had to close their splash pad after discovering that raw sewage had contaminated the water there.
