School security guard will keep his job after leaving gun in restroom

A Chatfield School security officer who left his gun in a Lapeer charter school's restroom will keep his job according to school officials.

Chatfield School Director Matt Young, said that the security guard was a "good fit for the position" after reviewing the incident.

The school has said that they have revised their security proceedures in order to avoid future incidents.
