The Shiawassee Sheriff's office has announced a $1,000 reward for information leading to the location of Aaron Idle.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Shiawassee Sheriff department at 989-743-3411 or the detective bureau at 989-743-2202. Police say all calls will be confidential.
The search continues for a man missing from Owosso Township. His family hasn't seen him in nine days and now they're pleading for help.
Aaron Idle is the father of two. His family says it's not like him to not check-in with his mom.
â??Itâ??s heartbreaking. Insurmountable pain, you can't even imagine,â?? says Alan Idle, Aaronâ??s father.
Itâ??s agony like no other. Alan and Pam Idle havenâ??t' heard from their first born for more than a week.
â??Heâ??s always got a phone in his face, ya know, talking or texting, and he didn't have a phone with him when he left, he didn't have a wallet, nothing,â?? says Pam Idle, Aaronâ??s mother.
The 30-year old was last seen leaving his parent's home on Chippewa Trail in Owosso Township. He was on foot, headed to the gas station just a quarter of a mile from his parent's home but no one's heard from him since.
â??We did the initial neighborhood canvasses we normally do, patrol checks, as time extended and some additional information was developed, that extended to k-9 searches,â?? says Lt. Det. David Kirk, who works with the Shiawassee County Sheriffâ??s office. â??We got a flat bottom boat to search the river that's in the area of his residence,â?? he adds.
The search has even expanded to Facebook. Flyers are also being passed out around the neighborhood.
Pam and Alan have even put a picture of their son on their truck. The Idle's just want their son to come home so he can be with his sons...
â??Any information you get, please pass it along to the sheriff's department so they can find my son and bring him home,â?? says Pam Idle.
The search for Idle has expanded into the Flint area as well.
If you have any information about where Aaron might be, please give the Shiawassee Sheriff's department a call at (989) 743-3411.
