Officials have completed their investigation into the beating death of a teenager.
The Genesee County Ranger Division assisted Burton Police in arresting a second suspect in the beating death of a 17-year-old Durand man.
Police said 17-year-old Benjamin Tatro was beaten at a house party in Burton August 20.
According to his family, Tatro died late Wednesday night, August 28.
Police arrested the first suspect, a 23-year-old man from Burton.
He was arraigned Saturday on murder charges.
The prosecutor's office will be seeking charges against the second suspect next week.
Family members said Tatro was beaten so badly he required several surgeries to repair organs that were damaged.
His ear had to be sewn back on.
A fund has been established to help the family with funeral expenses.
Checks can be made payable to Prayers for Ben Tatro and dropped off at First Merit Bank.
