Seniors connect with public at Strawberry Festival

Saginaw's Community Village Assisted Living for Seniors and the City Rescue Mission hosted their annual Strawberry Festival Tuesday.
From strawberry shortcake to games, there was fun and food for people of all ages.
While the main highlight is strawberries and ice cream, organizer say it's actually a great way for seniors to interact with the public.
"It's an opportunity for us to connect with the public and to let them know what community village is all about," said Ken Streeter.
All the money raised Tuesday's festival is given to the event fund for seniors at the community village.
