Snow, some ice, and frigid temperatures to slam Mid-Michigan

We will have to watch for wind advisories to be issued most likely for late Tuesday.

Mild snow accumulations will fall on Mid-Michigan overnight tonight through Monday morning.

Freezing drizzle is possible as well, combined with light snowfall to create slick conditions.

Many of the snow totals in the first graphic and in the forecast video are likely the maximum numbers, mostly due to how the snow will compact and how the drizzle will erode the snow.

Check out the video for a detailed forecast and to see the frigid temperatures on the way.

IMPORTANT: Tuesday and Tuesday night will begin an extremely large ramping up of the winds, the Storm Ready weather team will monitor if advisories are issued for that time frame.

Strong winds mid-week will bring overnight wind chills to the sub-zero point.
