Snow Update including totals and timing
We are waiting on one more model update but for now here is our thinking.
Snow should begin later today with a few flurries from now until the evening.
Snow will fall through Sunday midday over a large time-frame.
Totals will mainly be in the 3-6" range as you can see in the map.
Areas highlighted as 4-8" should expect not much more than 6" BUT due to the possibility for a few snow squalls in these spots we feel it important to include the potential for isolated higher amounts.
Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for Isabella, Gratiot, and Clare counties until 9am on Sunday.
More advisories may be issued later so stay with us for updates.
The heaviest snow should fall Sunday morning making travel during that time hazardous during that time.
Overall, here is a summary of the system.
Tune in at 6pm for the most up-to-date forecast from Nick and any changes to the totals either up or down.
