Despite the ice-cold temperatures and the fresh snowflakes, hundreds still enjoyed the sights and sounds of Snowfest.
Organizers say this is weather is perfect for the winter festival because colder temperatures help keep the ice sculptures solid.
Although Snowfest kicked off this past Wednesday, organizers are expecting the biggest crowds this weekend.
Saturday's events featured ice carving and sculpting with a fireworks display.
??I think it brings everybody together, I'm meeting some of my family here today and it's just exciting to see the community come together,?? says Amanda Frost.
