Sports stars expected at Saturday Flint fundraiser

He started as a kid from Flint. He graduated from Flint Northern. He went onto win the national championship playing basketball for the Michigan State Spartans. From there, he went to the NBA, to play for the Detroit Pistons, among other teams.

These days Mateen Cleaves works for FOX Sports Detroit and makes an occasional appearance on CBS Sports. But Cleaves has another passion. For those who are less fortunate.

Cleaves has started :1 Goal, 1 Passion: Hope for the Holidays. It's trying to help those in need in several Michigan cities including Flint and Saginaw. Cleaves has some help from some big time sports organizations. And his sports pals will be in Flint on Saturday to help him out.

There's a Celebrity Bowling Tournament at B's Bowling on Center Road in Flint, from 3 to 7 Saturday. The 'Flintstones", the MSU basketball National Champs from Flint are expected to be there. Several other sports stars have agreed to help out the cause. If you can help go here:
