Storms are out and cool air is in

Today was definitely one of the most active severe weather days we have had in a while.

Luckily, there is not a massive amount of damage and while we had several tornado warnings, no touchdowns have been confirmed yet.

Before I get in to the forecast I want to say thank you to all the viewers who posted pictures and sent emails, every one is a big help.

And to answer one particular viewer, yes, covering this much severe weather is a bit tiring so lets just say I'll be sleeping hard tonight.

Ok, time for what the future holds.

Behind todays cold front is much cooler air meaning we will struggle to get above 70 degrees tomorrow.

Showers return Tuesday afternoon with a few storms but nothing anywhere near as strong as today.

Rain continues through Thursday morning as we slowly rebound in temperature.

By next weekend we will be back to normal with plenty of sunshine so while this weekend was wet and stormy, next weekend should be beautiful.

Please continue to send viewer pictures and emails and stay safe out there as crews work to get power back on for those of you that lost it.
