Suspects in northern Michigan gun store robbery arrested in Davison Township

Suspects in a robbery of firearms from a gun shop in Grand Traverse County were arrested in Davison Township today by the Genesee County Sheriff's Office.

According to WPBN the guns were stolen Friday morning from Shooters Gun Range in Blair Township.

The Grand Traverse Sheriff's Office said that surveillance video showed two people inside the building, leaving with the stolen rifles and handguns.

At about 6 this morning the Genesee County Sheriff's Office was contacted by the Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office about a possible Flint-area connection.

Two suspects were then picked up at a home on the 3400 block of South State Road in Davison Township, near Bristol Road.

The Genesee County Sheriff, Robert Pickell, has scheduled a press conference about the arrests for this afternoon.
