A bone marrow drive was held in honor of a Grand Blanc teen whoâ??s battling cancer this weekend.
15-year-old Nicholas Daily will undergo a bone marrow transplant later this month. Saturday volunteers lined up at the Grand Blanc Fire Station to sign up for the National Marrow Match Registry.
One of the many on hand to provide support and encouragement was the Grand Blanc High School studentâ??s mother.
"By being on a registry, you could save someone's life. You could help them beat cancer, fight it, win, and have a normal healthy life,â?? said Martha Daily.
