Teen charged in school shooting plot sent to jail for violating bond

FLINT, Mich. - Teen charged in the Linden High School shooting plot was sent to jail for violating his bond agreement.

Genesee County Prosecutors office said on Monday, June 26 in Judge Farah's courtroom the bond for 17-year-old Kody Brewer was canceled after the judged learned he was suspended, tardy and absent from school.

Brewer had a cell phone, was suspended five times and absent and tardy from school over 70 times since November.

Brewer is due back in court July 17, at 3 p.m. for sentencing.

Brewer's attorney Elbert Hatchett said he had no comment about his client.
