Teen who violated probation following school shooting threat could face prison time
FLINT, Mich. --Seventeen-year-old Kody Brewer has violated his probation for the second time and now faces the possibility of going to prison.
Brewer had been serving a five-year probation sentence for his role in an alleged plot with two other boys to shoot up Linden schools in October 2015.
He was charged with an attempted false report of terrorism, a five-year felony.
Genesee County Deputy Chief Assistant Prosecutor John Potbury said, “We would be asking the judge to sentence him to prison now. I cannot go into the details of the probation violation at this time.”
