The Genesee County Animal Control Shelter in the running for free dog food for one year

The Genesee County Animal Control Shelter is in a nationwide competition sponsored by Pedigree. If they win, they will receive free dog food for one year.
More than four million dogs enter shelters each year, and they don't always get the nutrition they need. That's why Pedigree built the Feeding Project, a new initiative to supply participating shelters with 100 percent of their core dog food needs at absolutely no cost.
You can cast your vote once a day through Facebook until April 12th.
The Michigan Animal Rescue League and Friends for the Dearborn Animal Shelter are two other Michigan shelters in the running.
