FLINT TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The holidays are a time for family, and great food, which means more people, are flocking to gyms across Mid-Michigan to stay in shape.

Right now, is one of the busiest times of the year, for the Gym Fitness Center in Flint Township.

The owner, Vinnie Candela, says there are plenty of ways, to workout, during the holidays.

“It doesn't have to be super heavy weight it's more for your mind than just your body you have to do both. A lot of people come in they just see people lifting super heavy that's not what this is about. It's about overall fitness it's about coming in and sharing it with people doing the same things as you,” said Candella.

He also said you can do squats, lunges, and push-ups, just about anywhere, making it easy to get your heart rate up.
