Train derailment shuts down roads in Saginaw Township

The roads around where the Lake State Railway train derailed have been reopened.
Several cars, including the two that tipped over, are still at the scene. Lake State Railway train was traveling from Paines Station to Saginaw, then on to Flint.
Officals at the scene tell NBC25 the railway company is investigating what caused the train to derail.
It is unlcear how long it will take to clean up the spilled corn.
A train derailment caused several roads in Saginaw Township to close Wednesday afternoon.
Superior, Maple and Wheeler are closed according to Saginaw County 911.
Train cars carrying a load of corn tipped over shortly before 5 p.m. There are no reported injuries. Itâ??s unclear how long clean-up will take.
