A Michigan State Police trooper and a suspect are in stable condition after a police pursuit late Friday.
Michigan State Police say Friday around 11:20p.m. troopers tried to pull over a vehicle for defective equipment.
The vehicle sped away and led police on a chase that ended at 675 Kochville Road.
Troopers used stop sticks to stop the vehicle.
The driver of the car got out of the vehicle and climbed over the overpass.
A trooper grabbed the suspect and the two fell over a ledge about 30 feet below.
The trooper and suspect were taken to a hospital where they were listed in stable condition.
Police say the suspect is a 41-year-old from Standish who was on probation for alcohol charges.
