Two men arrested for theft of $20k in equipment

Jeffrey Dupuis was arrested and charged with larceny.

The Saginaw County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched on July 8 at about 9 pm to the 2400 block of Kochville Road in Zilwaukee Township for a reported theft of equipment.

After an investigation, the Sheriff's Office says they determined that Jeffrey Dupuis and Nathan Dammann removed motors and steel plating at Bond Trucking, a plant that recycles concrete and asphalt along the Saginaw River.

Investigators say the two men then took the metal to a Saginaw scrap yard. The equipment was valued at about $20,000.

Dupuis, officials say, was out on parole for home invasion.

Both men were taken into custody and arraigned on July 11tth.
