UM student who says he was 'bullied' by former Assistant Atty. General Andrew Shirvell starts scholarship

The University of Michigan student who claimed he was bullied by former Assistant Attorney General Andrew Shirvell has started a scholarship fund for children who are bullied.

The story became a national headline last year, when Shirvell went on CNN TMs Anderson Cooper, claiming he was merely expressing his freedom speech during protests against the openly gay student.

Shirvell was later fired from his position at the state for the incidents.

Now, Armstrong says he wants to reach out to bullied kids. You can watch his entire message about the scholarship in the Youtube video below.
