US Coast Guard, boater rescue 4 from Saginaw Bay

The U.S. Coast Guard and a boater worked together to rescue four people from the waters of Saginaw Bay.

The agency says in a statement it received a radio call about 7 p.m. Sunday from a boater who found the four clinging to an overturned boat.

A rescue boat from the Coast Guard station in Essexville responded to find one of the four out of the water and the other three on the overturned boat. The rescued passengers were taken to Essexville and the overturned boat was towed to a marina.

No one was injured.
