Vandals target Bronners Christmas Wonderland on Christmas

Information released by the Frankenmuth Police Department:
The Frankenmuth Police Department is investigating a vandalism which occurred at Bronners CHRISTmas Wonderland on Christmas morning. The incident was reported to police by a family member Christmas morning around 8:00am. A number of decorations throughout the property were displaced as well as heavily damaged.
It is believed the vandalism took place between the hours of 1:00am and 8:00am on the 25th. The exact time and motive of the incident is unclear at the present time however, evidence discovered and processed at the scene indicate more than one suspect was involved. Frankenmuth Police finished processing the scene around 11:30 am collecting a number of pieces of evidence which will require further examination for forensics.
During the investigation a Michigan State Police K-9 tracking dog was requested. A search of the area by MSP K-9 Trooper Steve Escott and his K-9 further indicted this act was carried out by more than one perpetrator. Trooper Escott tracked the suspects throughout the property until it is believed they entered a motor vehicle they had left in the parking lot.
The Frankenmuth Police Department is asking anyone with information on this incident to contact to Detective Randy Flathau at 989.652.3430 Ext. 160 or the FPD general number 989.652.8371 during business hours (Monday thru Friday 9:00 to 4:00). There is a reward being offered for the identification and successful prosecution of those involved.
